Last month, we finished the book The 4 Disciplines of Execution by Chris McChesney, Sean Covey, and Jim Huling. The book offers a roadmap for organizations to successfully accomplish their goals through proven practices that have been tested over many years.

Discipline 1: Focus on The Wildly Important Goal (WIG)

Discipline 2: Act on the Lead Measures 

Discipline 3: Keep a Compelling Scoreboard

Discipline 4: Create a Cadence of Accountability

While reading about Discipline 2, as a team, we tracked our leads and lags for our organization's goal and report on their status whenever we have our regular team meetings. It keeps us more accountable and always in sight of our goals.

Corazon de Vida Golf Tournament 

It was so great getting to support Corazon de Vida on the golf course! For every golfer we had join, $50 was donated to Corazon de Vida in support of the orphaned and abandoned children in Baja, Mexico. A day of golfing that supports a great cause feels like a hole in one! To learn more and participate before the tournament is over, click here to go to the Corazon de Vida Tournament site.

Help keep our planet clean! Join Startups Give Back and The Surfrider Foundation in cleaning up the San Diego beaches. Participants will be meeting at Mission Beach- Fiesta Island to receive clean- up kits  and break into groups.

Summer is right around the corner and we can't wait to be spending it at the San Diego County Fair! While masked up and six-feet apart, we are able to enjoy the fair once again on a smaller scale with limited attendance.

The official re-opening of Knott's Berry Farm is May 21st, 2021!

The amusement park is so excited to welcome back their guests! Tickets are now available to purchase but is limited to only California residents.
